I have a small project to create an add-on module to VFP-based accounting program and need some helpful suggestions. I have decided to create the user-interface application in VB6 (I know I could/should do everything in VFP so please no comments about the approach) with VFP middle-tier DLL accessng DBFs serving up the data.

Although I have written many VFP-only or VB-only applications, I've never done a VB front-end to VFP data and middle-tier. Thus, I need some expert advice on which of the methods I'm thinking about deploying would be best and any other suggestions before I get started:

1. VFP middle-tier serving up ADO recordset to VB front-end.
2. VFP middle-tier serving up XML to VB front-end.
3. VFP middle-tier serving up business objects to VB front-end.
