Sorry, but if you read up the thread carefully, you'll find that we're not talking about that.
We are talking about just recompiling VFP as-is in C# or C++.Net to make it run over the framework. Of course some changes would apply, but nothing major.
This is not about making a .NET language, but a .NET application. Get it?
Then, as we would be running on top of the Framework, getting access to some of its functionality is not so difficult.
