Thanks James
I did it in the init of the form. I can move it to the property sheet. It is just for display (read only). I don't even want a highlight bar. Working on that now. Got to be a property somewhere for that. I only work on my app and I am going to do a complete new version for my users. My VB version is 8 yrs old. The app is a desktop application only and if I can stay strong and not get upset I think I'll make it with VFP. This is my 3rd attempt. The last two times when I would spend hours trying to figure out how todo it in VFP and I knew if I was in VB I would have it done in 5 minutes and after a couple of weeks I would wimpout and give up. But this time I have learn so much more and VFP for desktop app's is awsome for what I need to do. I think I'll make it this time though. I have gotten help on this board everytime I have asked for it without getting beatenup on. This is a really good community of developers. Wthout I would of proably of wimpout by now. My wife says you cann't teach an old dog knew tricks.(As if she is still young). Thanks again.
Thanks
