The Mere Mortals .NET Framework
Hi Pertti,
didn't we have this discussion already? <s>

>Spoiled indeed. Hank's "xCase2VPM" utility moves my entire xCase data model into my VPM (another VFP framework) data dictionary in one swell swoop. It also updates the dictionary so that any changes to the data model are effortlessly reflected in the active data dictionary. No muss, no fuss.

>It is SO nice not to have to specify each data item's properties over and over again in the development environment. In xCase I can define property domains and apply them to a bunch of data items at once, or apply them as I go. It is also VERY nice not to have to worry about updating the data model and then changing the changed/new/deleted properties all over the place. NOT to mention handling data integrity, lookups, virtual fields, etc. in one central place in my xCase data model.

And if nobody else does it pretty soon, I may still end up doing it in the end. It would be time well spent to end up with this kind of functionality at my disposal.
