I was at PDC so I'm just now getting to this messsage. I don't think there is any generic way to accomplish what you want. It sounds like you would need to create your DataGrid by hand with using template columns. You would dynamically add the controls on the fly as the page is being created.
>I don't want the entire column to be ReadOnly. I only want the "select" link to be readonly or disabled within that solumn ONLY IF that particular row is blank. I don't want the user to be able to "select" a blank row.
