A little bit more info:
Double clicking on a DWG file from Windows Explorer will not start a new instance of AUTOCAD 2002 LT in Windows XP Pro...The DWG file will be added to the list of a currently running program. This behavior seems to be a little inconsistent with running the DWG file from WSH or SHELLEXECUTE. I was under the impression that using the WSH Run or Win API SHELLEXECUTE Commands were equivalent to double-clicking a file icon. So let me ask this question in a more general sense...
Has anyone seen this kind of inconsistency with other Windows Apps? Is there a proper Window Type argument that needs to be passed with either WSH Run OR SHELLEXECUTE?

It appears that AutoCad behaves differently from other apps such as Acrobat, Excel, etc. where you can open multiple files using WSH or SHELLEXECUTE. I know the full version of AUTOCAD supports automation, but at present the client only has the LT Version.
