Thanks very much, Frank. I'm at work now, but I'll try it tonight. I'm suspecting that what fooled me on that is that we have the Security tab enabled on all NTFS here at work, but the "Use Simple File Sharing" is also checked on all machines.

But I also am now noticing, after poking around the Computer Management & Policy area, that we have a "Security Template" in place that probably over-rides the setting. Looks that way, anyhow, without going through all the zillion individual policies. But I have no templates set at home, so your suggestion should work there (we'll see tonight!)
