What I'm saying is that over the past couple of days, you've dropped what appears to be a bombshell that caught a lot of people by surprise. My assumption is that had this information been known a long time ago, the wishes might have taken a different tack. There might have been more wishes about stronger links between VFP and the new versions of Windows.

Again, from the comments and questions, I kind of doubt that anyone realised that VFP was going to be left quite so far out in left field in relation to the new versions of windows etc.

I could be wrong, but from what I've been reading here, it wouldn't seem likely. I'm also not saying that those wishes would have been granted, or even that it would be possible to grant them, but in the statement that 80% of what is going into VFP9 is due to developer's wishes, it should be pointed out that those wishes could not have taken into consideration information about what was coming up that was not simply not known.
