Hello:

First, let me describe my situation (please be patient!):

I have a form with a Grid on it,this grid's control source is set to a table in the dataEnvironment, along with its columns, etc.

I run a second instance of the form (the form is modeless)
But now I want the grid's controlsource to change to another table that is also in the dataenvironment. I change the controlsource in code, but then I run into problems:

In the Grid, I have two columns, one is bound to a character field and the other one to a numeric field. When I run the second instance of the form, the numeric column displays the second table's values just fine, but the character column displays nothing. Only when I select a cell do the contents appear (BTW, the contents are the right ones),

I tried EVERYTHING, changing almost every layout property of the text boxes that display the fields and of the columns themselves, but I never suceeded. I think this is a problem I won't be able to solve, but maybe someone out there knows the solution...
