I recently converted one of my applications to VFP8 and to take advantage of
the userlook I used window xp as the workstation with window 2000 as the server. The promlem is not related to VFP8 but window xp.
When writing to disk it becomes so slow. pasting a folder of 10mb can take more than 30 minutes. If we change server properties with configue, advance, link speed & duplex and change the link speed from 100 full duplex to 100 half duplex or vice-versa it flies and copy same folder within seconds. After
a while (approx 1/2 hour) working it becomes slow again.

I am not using any anti-virus programs which may slow performance.

I would appreciate any suggetion to resolve this problem.
