Hi Ken

Seems you have stretched your usual 30 minutes quite a lot today. What's your local time now? About 3:00 PM?

>>What I would like you to, please, explain is what's going on with VFP regarding that future, and what will happen with VFP after all that new stuff comes. What will be the impact of all that when Longhorn comes (and that many new acompanying technologies) on regular developers that make regular applications.
>
>Probably not much of an impact unless you need to create a Longhorn specific interface or need to leverage all of the new features in Yukon. It really depends on what you need to do. Seems there are even some VFP developers today having problems with the fact that VFP 8.0 does not support Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0, and those are operating systems that are about 8 years old.

>If you want to learn more about the new technologies announced last week at the PDC, the session slides have been posted at http://msdn.microsoft.com/events/pdc/agendaandsessions/ for those who did not attend the conference.
