Excellent post E C. And is it too much to ask to have a vfp data product manager that's not trying to sell us on VS.NET and every other new technology, but, is interested in supporting vfp? It's pretty obvious Ken is trying to sell as many MS products as possible here. If you notice any posts where the technologies of vfp and VS.NEt overlap, you won't see any support from the microsofties for it. Ask a question about foxisapi or web services or even multi-threading for vfp. I bet you the party line coming from MS is to not promote or support such questions with vfp because it eats away at the other products...
