I have seen a number of different threads on UT concerning Spool32 printing errors on Win98 machines and thought our experience may be helpful to others.

We have struggled with Spool32 errors on Win98 machines for some time. They typically occur when larger or multiple documents are printed at or near the same time and queque up.

This is the Win98 OS error message:
"Spool32 caused an invalid page fault in module KERNAL32.DLL at 177:bff7b997?"

We think we have found the fix. There is a bug in the Win98 SPOOLSS.DLL. Replace the dll on the offending Win98 machine with a later dll of the same name from WinMe.
The dll version number is 4.3.0.1212.

This is working for use at serveral diffent customer locations. The fix is not documented by Microsoft, etc. etc.
