Don't see anything in the errors you've posted that tells me what's happening to cause your crashes.

Don't think it's VFP7, because as I mentioned before, we've gotten it to work with Win98, VFP7 SP1.

Stepping through the shutdown might be the ultimate means of tracking the problem down.
