>Ok so Borland has ALREADY done what MS is doing with SQL Server and VFP???? (ducking again)
That doesn't make any sense. VFP 8.0 is supported until 2010, and we are working on the next version of VFP. We continue to add SQL Server connectivy and compatability features to VFP. Over half the VFP developers surveyed use SQL Server with VFP, so the demand for it is there. We are signifcantly enhancing the data language features in Europa which will work great for DBF-centric VFP solutions - SQL Server is just an option for VFP based applictions.
