Alexander,

I apologize for wasting your time...

When I do a MESSAGEBOX() on loImg.ImageFormat, it comes back TIFF. All of the other properties show up correctly to when explicitly asked for. But in the debugger, nothing shows up. That is what made me think there was nothing there. Why does the property have to be explicitly asked for to show up? Is that something related to Access/Assign methods or having to call GDIPLUS.DLL?

In any case, I think I will now be able to tell the difference between "good" and "bad" TIFFs, so now I just need to figure out a way to manipulate the image so it looks OK. Since ImageHeight and ImageWidth are read-only, would you have any thoughts on how to force the image to stretch down and maintain it's proportions?

Thanks again...your knowledge continues to save me...

Thanks,
JoeK
