Well... practical jokes aside, imagine if you took VB, made it truly OO, added in the VFP database engine, and made that engine accessible (along with other data sources) via ADO. Add the ability to compile to true EXE or give option to retain P-code modules in circumstances where you still need to use macro substitution.

I would find that very attractive!!!
