For every thing there are of the priorities.

On a Dev.Env. for me priority is inverse to complex :

Max priority : Low level primitives for being able to make whichever thing.
( VFP is incomplete for this )
...
Medium priority : Medium level primitives for RAD ( VFP it has many of these, but they are often not made much good ).
...
Min priority : Complex primitives in order to standardize the code.
...
Zero priority : Neural nets primitive with automatic genetic synthesis of the complete application.

Until Max priority level is incomplete, any medium or max priority primitives it is alone welcome, but not essential.
