Unfortunatly, the LT Version does not come with the Type Library..you have to get the full version. I don't know if the Type Lib itself will work on an LT version.

At present I'm not interested in writing CAD files, only Opening, and perhaps Reading/Writing to the DWG Summary & Custom Properties (from the File>Drawing Properties menu selection. Can this be done from VFP via Automation (if need be with the full version)?

>Did you get the stuff to work with AutoCAD Lt. ? I think the best way to go in your case is Automation, don't screw around with the Shell or scripting host stuff. If you do not know if AutoCad Lt works with automation, open up Excel or Word, or the VFP object browser and look for it in there. If so, I should be able to help you.
