>ProgrammersParadise already refuted by Jim Nelson. Books for VFP 5 & 6 sold because there was such a quantum leap in improvements from VFP3. Books for 7 and 8 are primarily maintenance [What's New]. FWIW, WebRad came out under VFP7 and sold extremely well.

Two customers of mine could not order VFP8 from PP.ca. That may have changed.

According to the programmersparadise.ca sales rep i deal with they did not begin purchasing VFP 8 until April at the earliest. It arrived on the web site after April... its 1-888-423-2700 to reach PP.ca.

We attempted in May to purchase VFP8 from PP.ca and could not. I can give you the names of my clients purchasing agents who were informed they could not purchase the product but not in a public forum.

We just gave up and bought it from another source.

If someone was able to purchase VFP 8 from PP.ca before May chime in.
