From what I hear, MS is putting a lot of work into the Report Writer in vfp9. Who knows, maybe it will find its way into the next version of .NET in some way...
>This may not related to the topic, but when the time I see MS to bundle Crystal report with .NET, My 1st idea come out is why MS not seriously considers position VFP as .NET report writer alternative!

>VFP are more flexible, as it's have windows form class, native data engine, data centric language and more windows control. The only limit is the VFP report writer that is notthing much improve since VFP3 (or even version 2.x).

>If MS seriously to VFP, they would enchance the VFP report writer aggressively, and bundel it with .net means that we will enjoy more .net feature, furture version of SQL Server and Longhorn.
