>Speaking only for myself, I tend to write "in bunches". By that I mean, I'll work on a number of articles over, say, a year's period. After that, I generally take some time off from writing. For example, during 2000 and 2001 I wrote 8 or 9 articles for VFUG. I did 5 articles for FoxPro Advisor over the same time range a couple of years prior. In short, I tend to get "burn out".

Tell me about it. That's one benefit of co-authoring the column - because one doesn't carry the burden alone it is easier to stay focussed (at least, I hope we are staying focussed).

That's great news, I can't wait. Unfortunately, like me, you definitely qualify as part of the 'old guard' though I don't see any sings of you falling off yet :)
