>I just found that, from Visual FoxPro, Catalyst FTP and IIS does not unlock the file after a transfer. This results in having the file on the FTP server lock until the server reboot. I tried to find what configuration I can do to avoid that. The code I am using, from Visual FoxPro, has been running for 6 months. Now, that I have changed to MS IIS FTP server, it works, but the file get locked forever. What am I missing?
The problem is on the server side. I just did a simple FTP transfer using WSFTP32. As soon as the transfer ends, the file is locked forever. The transfer works ok. I can also disconnect from the FTP server ok. However, the file is not accessible anymore. What can be the cause of this locking?
