>You are right. However, I forgot to mention one other criteria which I'm not certain your idea handles. I want the 2 Exes to be running as separate Windows processes. One of the Exe's runs a task scheduler which has to kick off user scheduled operations, such as running reports or running a billing routine, without being blocked by the state of the other VFP exe (which has numerous data entry, lookup and reporting forms)

Yes, one controlling exe and others sharing all libraries from this master app...

BTW, 2 classlibs probably take less space in memory than 2 VFP Runtime lib!
