Thanks for your suggestion, but I have found the cause of the problem.
Recently I added 3 lines to the Config.fpw file.
Developement=off
mvcount=1024
screen=off
When I removed them the problem went away.
The original 2 lines remaining are:
command=do "c:\codemine\common50\cmStart"
resource=on
