Actually, Dave, I'd have to say that VFP is relatively efficient when it is given the chance to be so. Sure, nothing can beat only ever sending the exact data you need, but short of that Rushmore provides good efficiency when well exploited. Systems with 250+ users and GBs of data can get sub-second response time using VFP.
