Maybe I'm lucky, but for me (and for Marcia too) the actual writing is enjoyable - it's a nice break from the real work and now that we are getting into another Ohio winter, what else are we going to do on a cold and damp Saturday afternoon :)

The hard part is coming up with ideas for the column. We get some suggestions from readers (not enough, people please note!) but the problem is that it has to be a topic that can fit into the 'dialog' format. This makes it hard to write a 'This is how you do ...' type of article, and even a 'This is what I did to solve ...'.

But that's part of the challenge, and, hopefully, part of the reason that people seem to like the result.
