Is that a "local" saying in your "neck of the woods" or are you looking for the French word "Voila" which, works just fine in the context you use "walla". Just curious ...

You're clearly a very bright lad who uses older and newer technologies, so, you have no particular axe to grind either way. In this case, it is good to see you extolling the virtues of a more "mature" technology because it is appropriate to do so in the circumstances you described, and not just brainlessly advocate the "latest and greatest" just because the market would have us believe that is our only option with the consequence that we would be foolish to take a contrary view ... the "king and his new clothes" springs to mind <s>.
