Hi Dean,

I will be using Delphi 8 .NET for sure and have been really looking forward to it's release!

I will also be using ASP.NET since I already use ASP on occassion.

I also plan to be using C++ for some FLL work and will use C# as another learning experience as necessary. I don't ever see myself using VB.NET. I don't really care for the VB syntax.

And you're never too old to learn new tricks! Learning new things gives you a fresh persepective sometimes on solving problems that may have seemed difficult before. I'm almost 40. So, I'm not far behind you. I feel like I have been in continuous learning mode ever since I was 18 and I wrote my first program as a Freshman in college. And, there have definitely been enough programming languages and technologies to learn since I first taught myself Assembler back in 1982 just so I could make my Word Processor run a lot faster. It was pretty fun seeing how far you could push the limits of a 1MHz, 64K Apple IIe!

Thanks Michel.
I do have some real experience with JAVA, but I find it to be a little "rough".

I want to go to C#, but that like JAVA's twin brother and I have a bad feeling about VB .NET for some reason....

At the age of 42, I may be too old learn new tricks anyway. ~sigh~

Actually, I think I would like to hit Delphi. I love its GUI.

Well, I'm rambling and it's late or is it early.

Thanks again.
