In Win2K systems you don´t have open access (as win98, per instance)

On Win2k you must have to create one user.. The active directory is some other resource that you must to install (if you want to allow other users to use some resource of this machine)

And, there is no sense if you buy so powerfull operating system and still use *workgrous*.. Win2k has the ability to control the domain of group.. The other stations can be seted as: controled by winnt..

..And, so on.

This is the main advantages for you.. But, on win2k, many and many others powerfull resources can be found.. Why don't you buy a book ? Certainly will be a great investment !
