Can a clever soul help me out ??

I have (again) some old foxpro 2.1 files. These files contain information in french. When i open these files with foxpro 2.1 the text in it is ok.

When i open the file in a vfp environment some letters have changed. For exemple an é becoms µ, an à becoms ô.

Does somebody know the problem ? Can somebody help me ?
