1. SANDMAR is a client server database system or file based (like vfp table)?
2. Do you want 157000 records at the same time, what is the purposes?
In fact, it is not a good ideas to download 157000 records from server at once even in 100MBaseT network. In my experience, you need 3-4 seconds to download 5000 records from server. So, it took about 125.6 seconds (2 hours+).
May be you should try to filter out any unecessary records. For example, using range of date, range of item or etc. It will definitely speed up.
