I know some Access programmers that think they can create applications to run the world. Being realistic is important. Understand the position of each product available and when to use the one that is most appropriate. Understand the needs of your client. Use what the client solution requires.
We are replacing all Access programs at our plant. They are not stable, and constantly require maintenance. If you want reliability use VFP. You can resolve data problems with products like Stonefield Tool Kit, and others. I have as many as 250 users on one of my applications.
