Recalling those framing errors you were battling on the scale side, could we again be facing the same problem here? Sure wish I could get a logic analyzer on your wires :-)

>ok, i will let you know. for now, it looks like it is getting more consistent. if i hit the start 4 times, it will start and if i hit the stop 4 times it will stop. the only problem with coding it is that it has a very slow response rate. it takes about 3 to 4 seconds for it to stop after the 4th button click. i will keep you posted.
