Anyone using ODBC sucessfully? What about to an AS400?

I am having a bit of difficulty creating a remote view, I have created a connection without any bother but as soon as I try to reference the database, which is in my library johnrlib\filename I get a Connectivity error *driver name*[DB2/400 SQL] Communication Link Failure. COMM RC=Oxc

I have checked the help which states the error number 1526 and that you can use aerror(aName) to subsequently query the error, but doesn't provide much more than that.

Can anyone help?
