Hi Joel

Can I use XML to save locally our products table ( > 50000, truck parts), or our customers table ( > 2000) ? Can I use XML for fast incremental searching on local data? Can I join local data with data retrieved from server in cursors?

Using this approach, the app I work on now simply "fly" over a DSL connection.

There is nothing wrong with having local data and quick acces to it, look at the way IE implements internet files and content cache.
