Hi Larry,

I'm looking at VFP7 help and I don't know if this topic is changed in VFP8.

>Having said that, if you go to the Search tab in the VFP Help and type in "SQL statement too long" in quotes, the first topic returned is SYS(3055) - FOR and WHERE clause complexity. Sometimes, it's simply a matter of looking at something another way.

Agreed, but I just wish that the online help could be more thorough and cross reference these important topics. I mean, when I got the error dialog, I clicked on the Help button which led me to "Object code is too long to be compiled [...]" with no mention of the SYS(3055) topic. This is the help that is first provided by VFP. IMO it would have been more useful to have shown the SYS(3055) instead!
