Thanks. But the problem wasn't with VFP -- it was with IE and/or Windows XP. It's apparently a common problem. After trying every piece of advice I could find on the web, I did a System Restore (which I had tried earlier, but the system restore utility crashed with a "program too big to fit in memory error," but now it mysteriously worked) which cleared up the issue.
