Title:
How to assign printer rights or monitor printer usage
Hi Sergey,
I thought of sending this thread to you direct since you always come up with quick answers! =)
This is also listed as thread no. 849742.
You see, a client of mine digitizes images and prints them to a special printer that can print on metal pendants. He would like to avoid employees' trying to bring their own metal pendants and thereby selling the services off without the company's knowledge.
Is there a way for the following to be done?
1. Assign 'user rights' to specific printers? That is, user Adam can print to Printer A, while user Mary is prohibited from printing to it.
2. Or probably monitor or come up with a log of printing activites, i.e., who printed what at what date and time...
TIA,
Dennis
