>Hi Larry,
>Well I did just that. It is in the Code section of my project and yes, it did have a circle with a line throug it. I successfully built my project and used the install shield program to build a single image to deploy. I made sure that the FoxTools.dll was included in my files as well as the multimedia.vcx/vct files. The image was created without any errors. When I install and run the program, I still get the can not find api library. What's up.. Am I still doing something wrong or did I forget something?

A line saying "set library to foxtools.dll", maybe?

Just trying to get past the obvious stuff. Also, there are several versions of Foxtools around, for each version of Fox since 2.5, I think. And as my tagline doesn't explicitly say, "Foxtools forever" means that with each version some of the Foxtools functions are moved into Fox proper. You may want to load the Foxtools and do a Display Status - in the end you should get a list of all the functions within this library. Then check that the version you are using does have the functions you need. If not, find one which does.
