David,

I know. Nevertheless, IMO it would be a good thing if Ken was a little bit clearer about the status of each item.

The last time (vfp8) some of us have done a lot of research, trying to find out which items made it and which not (yet). It is my impression that this work wasn't fully successful and I know of no summary list.

It is my hunch that Ken tries to avoid holy war discussions that might be the result from disclosing the list of rejected items. I can understand that, but only to a certain extend.

>There's nothing in any of these posts that say "this is the absolute list of all new features that will appear in Europa". Everything I've seen posted are the big new features, not necessarily every little thing that will be added. Another factor is we won't know what's actually going to be in the product until the first VFP9 CD is produced and the image is loaded to MSDN for download.

>>In another reply (Re: Europa News from the Visual FoxPro Team Thread #849736 Message #849803) Ken states that 'the features for Europa have been selected and we are not reviewing Wish List input any longer for Europa features'.

>>The question remains: Which items were selected, which were rejected?
Groet,

Constructive frustration is the breeding ground of genius.
If there’s no willingness to moderate for the sake of good debate, then I have no willingness to debate at all.
Let's develop superb standards that will end the holy wars.
