But i think that these codes don't work because the windows driver doesnt know for witch part of the printer they are.

Your chr(nnnn) command will be received by the printer not like the ASCII code.. Your printer driver will translate that before for graphics characters.

With GENERIC/TEXT ONLY driver, the conversation between your APP and your PRINTER will occur with no translation.. You send: chr(27), "ABCDEF".. Your printer gets: chr(27), "ABCDEF" (on almost all cases) :)

Even if you send to: "set printer to lpt1" It doesn't matter, the driver will there..
