>Good question. Probably random within the payout parameters it is programmed for (different payouts for different locales....). They key is, you can play skillfully against it, and if you are good, you can win. This was discussed this week on the Travel channel (Winning in Vegas).

Tommy, PMFJI, surely no one really believes this? These are programs that have specifically been written to provide a payout less than the total / overall intake of money.

The casino's might allow (sometimes) a higher payout on one game type in order to gain in other areas but ultimately casino's are hugely profitable business'. They are not in the business of making their customers rich.

Any casino game played long enough will expose the house edge and you will lose your money. Some might get lucky but on the whole and in the end the probabilities will "get you" :)
