Hi Leland
It sounds great but I'm pretty sure if you were successful that you would get a visit from the local "enforcers" who would want their cut first :) You're on their "turf" so to speak.
I think if a person gambles with an open mind and for the fun of it then great. Maybe you get lucky and have good time. But if someone is kidding themselves into thinking they have a "system" or an "edge" or that the casino or dealers give a rat's a** about them then they will learn an unhappy lesson.
Coming from Texas you might be interested to know that, I understand, no limit Texas hold'em poker is actually the best game in town. The casino acts as dealer and earns a cut on the pot only. You play against the other players and not against the casino. If you know how to (a) calculate the outs, (b) count cards, and (c) "read" your fellow man/woman well then you stand a good chance to make money. But even this is high risk because the other (good) players know this too :)
Regards
