Blinking labels, etc. are not really popular with users who find them distracting and annoying. At least my users do and I think I have seen similar comments on this site from time to time.
You may be able to "blink" your minimized form title caption using a timer -- I'm not sure since I have never tried it. I would think about it before I did this, though. Is there no other way you can alert the user -- for example a message when the current for is closed or simply restore the minimized form when the current form is closed?
