Then start developing small applications that help you automate tasks you need in your normal workday. Better to make the mistakes on these little guys before doing it in a big app.

You'll have to talk to Michel about that. LOL. My night job is with the UT, but I don't doing any of the programming for him. At my dayjob is where I use ASP.NET/C#.
