SQLEXEC(gnhandle,"update vizkeys set crypt_key="whatever" where realkey='one of my keys' ","real")

as in

SQLEXEC(gnhandle,"update vizkeys set crypt_key=m.whatever where realkey='one of my keys' ","real")

it fails.

I thought you'd given me a clue with your use of the "?"

so I tried

SQLEXEC(gnhandle,"update vizkeys set crypt_key=?m.whatever where realkey='one of my keys' ","real")

but then it stops with an inputbox and asks me to input a value for m.whatever!
