Yeah, I guess. I don't like that approach of cramming a bunch of disparate pieces of data into a single memo field (Properties, Methods, etc.) because it flies in the face of sound data design. And if you want to extend the functionality by working with the FRX directly, you wind up doing a lot of string parsing just as if you were working with a dumb text file instead of a database. But if backward compatibility is a must, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.

So are you ready to move back to Chicago, where the weather doesn't tend toward the Biblical? *g* That seemed like some sort of cosmic joke for L.A. to get 5 inches of rain in 2 hours just a couple of weeks after it could have done some good with the fires.

(Yeah, I know -- winter's coming. There's that.)
