From what Ken has said, there will be no evolving vfp where the features are overlaping with .NET. If .NET eventually gets a good native Report Writer, VFP will probably never benefit from it. However, features may be taken from existing vfp features and used in .NET. Doesn't seem fair, does it?
>>It would be nice if we could use the new report writer capabilities in a .vfp. mtdll - that would take care of the web reporting. I'm not confident it'll be in there though since MS is not into upgrading any more .vfp. stuff for the web...

>Certainly you are much better able to make a judgement in this, but it seems to make sense that will MS evolve the VFP reporter into a .NET reporter with presumably web reporting capabilities, especially with the creation of the MS data group (YAG, Ken etc). Currently MS doesn't have a first class reporter, so they ship Crystal with .NET.
