I was referring to the "Tables" property, this property doesn't control whether tables are joined and how many of them are joined, the SQL SELECT statement controls this. "Tables" property is just a list of tables to send updates to. They even doesn't have to mach tables from the FROM clause, you may retrieve data from one set of tables, but update different set of tables (if it makes sense for your app). If you are not going to update some table, it is safe to remove it from the "Tables" list.
